IXM5414E The SBCE chassis supports one or two hot-swap Ethernet switch modules installed in switch-module bays 1 & 2. The switch module in bay 1 provides an internal connection to Ethernet adapter 1 in all blade servers in the chassis and is required for basic operation of the blade servers. To connect to Ethernet adapter 2 in each blade server, install an Ethernet switch module in switch-module bay 2.
